Anna’s Cool Math Trick Multiplying with the Number 9

Here is a cool math trick that I want to share with my readers.  I personally haven’t come across any similar trick like this myself on the internet, so hopefully this is something new and no one has attempted it before.

It happened last night when I was about to head to sleep.  I saw a post shared by a friend on how she taught her son to learn multiplication of the number 9.  I have always know number 9 is a special number.  This is what I saw on her shared post.

1 x 9 = 09
2 x 9 = 18
3 x 9 = 27
4 x 9 = 36
5 x 9 = 45
6 x 9 = 54
7 x 9 = 63
8 x 9 = 72
9 x 9 = 81
10 x 9 = 90

As you can see the answers, one side (first digit) was ascending from 0 to 9 and the other side (second digit) was descending from 9 to 0.

Next thing I know, I was doing some equation with the number 9 and I came up with this cool trick. This trick that I created (I hope I am the first one attempted this) is to help you do a multiplication with number 9 without you having to know how to multiply. You just have to know how to add and subtract to do this trick.  Watch this video to see how it works. Please click ‘LIKE’ and share if you enjoy the trick!
