My son loves tall structures. So even before the start of our trip to KL, I had told my brother to purchase from Groupon Malaysia the deal for the KL tower package, which include buffet lunch at Atmosphere 360, observation deck and the entrance to the aquarium.
The Groupon deal was RM88 for 1 person and RM340 for 4 person package. Kids 3 to 12 years of age pays RM68 each. The Groupon package includes RM20+ of cordial drink. The current promotion on the restaurant website is RM75.99++ for adult and RM58.60++ for child, for their lunch buffet (only food, no drinks included in the price).
It is not much of a saving getting from Groupon, just couple of Ringgits, but you get a free drink and entrance to the aquarium as bonuses.
We loved the view from the top. The restaurant is a revolving restaurant and we saw the whole KL city. The Petronas Twin Towers were behind us in the picture above.
We were there mainly for the view and not for the food. My uncle said they had a change in the restaurant management recently and the food taste much better now.
I didn’t try all the dishes because I was too busy with the photography. I would say they have enough choices and dishes for many people. I don’t think the number of dishes can compare with the buffet we have in Las Vegas.
They have a salad table with different pre-mixed salad choices. You can also pick your own salad and drizzle with your favorite dressing.
Try some smoked salmon as appetizer if you like salmon.
The scallops are very small and served with the shell.
Roti Canai and murtabak. They have curry chicken and dhal curry as dipping sauce.
Steamed fish with soy sauce.
I couldn’t stop taking pictures of their desserts. The dessert table is full with beautiful petite cakes.
I had as many cakes as I could because I really love dessert. Some are good and some are ok.
I wish they have kuih-muih (local sweet delights) too but I think they are only available during the afternoon tea time buffet.
Toppings selection for Ice-kacang (shaved ice).
Next to the cake table, there is an ice-cream section with strawberry and vanilla ice-cream and some topping choices. The above picture of my son’s ice-cream selection. Delicious!
This is a table for VVIP (a sign on the table said so).
This one too!
On your left side is the dessert and ice-cream’s table. On your left is the hot dishes section including the roti canai, murtabak, curry chicken, stir-fried vegetables and more. They also have made-to-order hot bee hoon soup (vermicelli with soup) which I didn’t try.
Hot food section. In this area, they served beef rendang, lamb curry, mee mamak, rice, tomato chicken, and some other dishes.
